AHA Fruit Acids

A blend of Bilberry, Lemon, Orange, Sugar Cane, and Sugar Maple extracts that contains natural AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) such as lactic acid, citric acid, glycolic acid, malic acid, and tartaric acid. They work in synergy to exfoliate the skin hence smoothing and brightening the skin, while also balancing uneven skin tone and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Acacia Senegal Gum

Polysaccharide obtained by making incisions into the bark of the Acacia tree of Senegal. It acts as a thickener and stabilizer in the products.

Aloe Barbadensis

Aloe Vera has been known and used for centuries for its moisturizing, hydrating, and soothing properties. It gives a sensation of freshness to the skin due to the effects of polysaccharides from the leaf core.

Alpha Arbutin

Alpha Arbutin is effective in suppressing the overproduction of melanin due to the exposure of UV rays. The abnormal melanin production leads to skin hyperpigmentation characterized by the appearance of dark spots or age spots

Aqua

We use RO (reverse osmosis) water, meaning that the water has been passed through a semipermeable membrane with very small pores to trap contaminants.

Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate

A Vitamin C derivative that is stable against heat and oxidation. It acts as a whitening agent and strong antioxidant that protects skin from ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species) induced by UV radiation, pollution, smoking, and alcohol consumption.

Bentonite

Natural mineral with ability to stabilize oils and water in creams, while enhancing their viscosity and skin feel.

Benzyl Alcohol

Preservative that provides a broad spectrum protection against bacteria, yeast, and molds.

Bisabolol

Bisabolol is produced through a process of fractional distillation of Candeia trees (Eremanthus erythropappus). It has been proven to calm irritated skin due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.

Buah Merah Oil

Pandanus conoideus is a fruit native to Papua, Indonesia, that contains powerful antioxidants such as carotenoids and tocopherols. The high level of carotenoids produces natural orange-red pigment.

Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum

Polysaccharide obtained by grinding the seed tissue of Caesalpinia spinosa tree. It is a thickening agent with a very nice sensory

Cellulose Gum

Made from wood-derived fiber (pulp), Cellulose Gum functions as a thickening and stabilizing agent while enhancing the texture of the product.

Cetearyl Alcohol

An emulsifier that helps to keep liquid and oils together to create creams in a wide variety of viscosity while ensuring the stability of the product.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is produced through the extraction of the dried solid white mass (copra) of Cocos nucifera. It is an emollient that helps to smoothen and soften the skin, as well as improve skin hydration.

Cucumber Extract

Cucumber extract is extracted from the fruits of Cucumis sativus. They are high in vitamin K that helps calm puffy skin, such as eye bags. They contain lignans to help soothe down irritation and inflammation associated with sunburns. The naturally occuring glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid work together to cleanse the skin.

Decyl Glucoside

A mild surfactant obtained from fatty alcohols and glucose from plants with high performance cleansing properties.

Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate

A surfactant that is gentle for the skin, particularly suitable for cleansing dry or irritated skin. Due to its mildness, it is also suitable for the care of baby skin.

Dragon Fruit Extract

Dragon fruit (Hylocereus costaricensis) is a rich source of nutrients and minerals such as vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin C, flavonoids and polyphenols. The high content of phytoalbumins is highly valued for its antioxidant function.

Ectoin

An amino acid derivative produced through bacterial fermentation of Halomonas elongata. It helps to improve skin hydration in long term, calm irritated and inflamed skin, smooth rough or scaly skin, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and protect skin against stress, aging, and UV radiation.

Flaxseed Oil

Flaxseed oil, cold pressed through the seeds of Linum usitassimum, is highly valued for its linoleic and alpha linolenic acids content that contributes to their anti-inflammatory and regenerative functions.

Glycerin

Humectant that keeps skin hydrated and moist by holding water within the surface layers of the skin.

Glyceryl Stearate

A waxy substance with emulsifying properties that prevent liquid and oils in creams from separating. It also has excellent moisturizing properties and forms a barrier on skin to prevent water loss.

Green Tea Extract

The leaves of Camellia sinensis contain abundant epigallocatechin gallate compounds that act as potent antioxidants to protect against free radicals. These compounds also have positive effects on skin hydration and moisture retention.

Illipe Butter

Illipe butter is sourced from the seeds of Shorea stenoptera, an endemic plant of Borneo, Indonesia. It is rich in stearic acid, oleic acid, and palmitic acid in which its content is equivalent to cocoa butter. It is moisturizing and nourishing the skin.

Jojoba Esters

A complex mixture of esters from Jojoba Oil that provides skin moisturization and barrier protection.

Jojoba Oil

A very stable liquid wax of the seeds of Simmondsia chinensis. It has an anti-inflammatory effect that is particularly suitable for calming irritated skin.

Lactic Acid

A moisturizing agent produced by the fermentation of sugars with lactic acid bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus.

Lemon Oil

Lemon oil, extracted through the peel of Citrus limon, is well-known for its cleansing and anti-microbial properties due to its limonene, β-pinene, and γ-terpene content. The flavonoids and polyphenols content scavenges free radicals effectively, protecting skin against oxidation.

Licorice Extract

Licorice extract that is produced from the roots of Glycyrrhiza glabra is a natural source of glabridin, liquiritin, and isoliquiritin. These compounds help to lighten the skin, reduce the appearance of age spots, and calm sensitive or irritated skin. The naturally occuring brown liquid extraction adds colour to the formula.

Macadamia Oil

Macadamia oil is derived from the seeds of Macadamia ternifolia. It is known to be stable against oxidation and rich in palmitoleic acid that has potential antimicrobial activity.

Magnolia Oil

The flowers of Magnolia champaca have cultural and traditional values. They are widely used by the Indonesian community in various traditional events due to their amazing aroma. They also contain phytochemicals with antioxidant and anti-inflammation properties to protect the skin from oxidative stresses.

Niacinamide

A form of Vitamin B3 with plenty of benefits: it helps to improve the structure of mature skin; reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and pigment spots; increase skin's elasticity, balance skin microbiota; replenish essential skin lipids to protect skin barrier function; brighten and rebalance uneven skin tone; and mitigate the degrading effects of UV rays and pollution.

Polyglycerin-3

Polyglycerin-3 acts as humectant that helps retain water to the skin, keeping skin plump and hydrated.

Polyglyceryl-3 Caprate / Caprylate / Succinate

Effective solubilizer that helps the solubilization of essential oils in water-based system.

Pomegranate Extract

The extraction from the fruits of Punica granatum contains ellagic acid that acts as antioxidant and inhibitor of UV-induced pigmentation, protecting skin from oxidative stresses.

Pomegranate Oil

Pomegranate oil is cold processed from the seeds of Punica granatum. It is abundant in vitamin E and puninic acid, a very rare omega-5 fatty acid, which possess anti-inflammatory and antioxidative effects. It helps to improve the regeneration of injured skin and decrease the damaging skin due to UV radiation.

Propanediol

Natural alternative to petroleum-based glycols produced through a fermentation process of plant-derived glucose. It has excellent moisturizing performance.

Propylene Glycol

Liquid that helps to dissolve other components in the formula as well as keeping the moisture in the skin.

Pumpkin Oil

Pumpkin oil is derived from the seeds of Cucurbita pepo. The high level of linoleic acid causes the oil to be anti-inflammatory and regenerative, while the beta carotene, vitamin E, and squalane content is the key to its antioxidative property.

Rosehip Oil

Rosehip oil is sourced from pometum (hip) of Rosa canina. It possesses anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects thanks to the excellent content of linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid.

Salicylic Acid

A BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) that is used as an effective preservative and skin conditioning agent. It also functions to eliminate the dead cells of the stratum corneum due to its keratolytic properties.

Sandalwood Oil

Sandalwood oil is derived from the extraction of Santalum album woods. Alpha-santalol contained in the oil acts to suppress abnormal pigmentation associated with aging and exposure of UV rays.

Sodium Gluconate

Sodium Gluconate is a natural chelating agent obtained through the fermentation of glucose. As a chelating agent, it helps to stabilize other ingredients within the formula by binding with metal ions. Hence, enhancing the stability of the overall product.

Sodium Hyaluronate

Sodium Hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. It acts as a humectant that helps attract water to the skin, maintaining skin's hydration and elasticity. The sodium hyaluronate added to our formula consists of high and low molecular mass. The high molecular mass of sodium hyaluronate creates a thin layer on the skin and retains water in the stratum corneum, while the low molecular mass penetrates deeper into the epidermis.

Sodium Hydroxide

Sodium Hydroxide is added to the formula to help adjust the pH of the final products.

Sodium Lactate

Sodium Lactate is the sodium salt of lactic acid that is used as a moisturizer and humectant.

Sodium PCA

Sodium PCA is the sodium salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA), which has a moisturizing effect and acts as humectant, keeping skin hydrated by drawing moisture to the skin.

Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate

Amino-acid based emulsifier that helps combine liquid and oil in creams and keeps it stable.

Sorbic Acid

Preservative that inhibits the growth of microorganisms in the product.

Sunflower Seed Wax

A crystalline wax derived from Sunflower Oil that is used for its moisturizing and thickening properties.

Sweet Orange Oil

Aside from its refreshing aroma, Sweet Orange Oil is also known for its antioxidant and antimicrobial activity.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is derived from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia that protects the skin through its anti-bacteria, anti-virus, and anti-inflammation properties.

Tocopherol

Tocopherol has good antioxidative activity and ability to slow oxidative processes. Thus, it is meant to protect products from being rancid.

White Willow Bark Extract

Extracted through the barks of Salix alba, white willow bark extract is a source of natural salicylic acid that shows benefit in exfoliation of dead skin cells, excellent antioxidant protection, and anti-microbial function.

Xanthan Gum

Polysaccharide produced through the fermentation process of Xanthomonas campestris. It acts as a thickener and stabilizer in the products.

Yam Bean Extract

Extracted through the roots of Pachyrhizus erosus, yam bean extract has skin-lightening and antioxidant properties that helps improve skin tone and condition.

Ylang-ylang Oil

Ylang-ylang is extracted from the flowers of Cananga odorata. Not only well-known for its fragrant aroma, it is also anti-microbial, anti-irritation, and anti-melanogenesis. Some people might confuse Ylang-ylang with Cananga. Both have the same genus and species - Cananga odorata. However, they belong to different variety. Ylang-ylang is of guenina while Cananga is of macrophylla.
